| The database that accompanies our 2003 PLoS Biology paper features a query interface for viewing the raw data from this 48 hour long experiment. From a synchronized culture of Plasmodium falciparum, samples were withdrawn on the hour, every hour, for the entire intraerythrocytic lifecycle. This experiment resulted in a very high time resolution portrait of the transcriptional cascade occuring within these parasites. The entire dataset may be downloaded, or genes can be queried one or many at a time, either by name, identifier, description, or by functional category. Data is also provided for our follow-up NAR paper in which multiple strains of P.falciparum were compared. DeRisi Lab Malaria Transcriptome Database |
